![]() Time Machine can bring you back to a time before we were doomed by global warming. It even looks a bit like Dark Sky, too, with its monochrome icons and what not. In fact, Forecast Bar uses the same data from Forecast.io as Dark Sky. To answer the question, yes, this is about as close as you’ll get to Dark Sky on the Apple TV. I’ve tried numerous Apple TV apps and none come close to this in terms of amount of detail. This makes Forecast Bar by far the most thorough weather app on the Apple TV. But click on a day to expand even more details for hourly precipitation, wind, humidity and UV index. On the right, you can scroll through the extended forecast with a brief description for each day. Over on the left side you’ll find the current temperature, high, low, sunrise, sunset and other fine details like visibility, wind and dew point. And I bought it under the impression that "full access" means just that.Open up the full app and Forecast Bar displays the current weather and seven-day forecast over beautiful footage from nature. Then, every year you must pay the same amount or at least another $3.99 for the app to work.īecause of your vague App Store wording, I just paid $3.99 for an app I do not want to pay $3.99 every year for in order for it to work. Then pay another $3.99 for watch background updates. Maybe you aren't trying to mislead, but your wording is vague and you need to lay out for everyone plain and simple. Your description on macrumors is different and states "additional purchase required for background updates" Nothing in your app description states "except watch background updates". To me, it means all access to all features. You never explain what the full access is or means. After a year you can renew via an in app purchase". Your App Store description states "purchase includes one year full access. There's a purchase price up front, no subscriptions UNLESS you want the extra background updates for the watch which is $1.99 yearly. I understand that, as a competing weather app uses the same model. We would greatly appreciate hearing your feedback and any thoughts you have on the app!
